Terms of Service

Last updated 30 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use Connext Work at connext.work. Please read them before you create an account. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Connext Work is run by Nicky Gray Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15895939), at 8 Ashgrove Road, Redland, Bristol, BS6 6LY, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means the person using Connext Work.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information. It isn’t part of these terms, but please read it too.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to use Connext Work.
  • Your account is for you alone. Please don’t share it or let anyone else use it.
  • Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date, because that’s where we send important messages about your account.
  • Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication in your settings. Tell us straight away at support@connext.work if you think someone else has used your account.

What Connext Work does

Connext Work helps you find people in your existing network who could help with your job search, prepare a personal approach to them and keep track of what happens next. You bring in your contacts, set your job goal, and we suggest people to contact and messages to send.

Unless you use LinkedIn campaigns or reply to someone from Conversations (both part of Pro), you send your messages yourself, by email, LinkedIn, phone, WhatsApp or however you choose. Connext Work doesn’t send them for you.

We can’t promise results. Not every network includes people who can help with a particular goal, and we don’t guarantee that anyone will reply, introduce you or offer you work.

Free and Pro

Free lets you bring in your contacts, set your job goal, see a preview of the people best placed to help, write to them and track what happens. Pro is a paid monthly subscription that adds your full shortlist, more AI drafts, connecting your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn campaigns and Conversations. What each plan includes, and the price of Pro, are on our Pricing page.

  • AI drafts are counted each calendar month on Free, and each billing month on Pro. Unused drafts don’t carry over.
  • Pro is paid monthly in advance by card through Stripe, our payment provider. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Your card details are held by Stripe, not by us.
  • If a payment fails, Pro features pause until it’s paid. You can update your card from the Billing page.
  • If we change the price of Pro, we’ll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. You can cancel before then if you don’t want to continue.

Cancelling and refunds

  • You can cancel Pro at any time from the Billing page in your account. You keep Pro until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and then your account moves to Free.
  • Changing your mind: if you live in the UK and cancel within 14 days of first subscribing to Pro, email us at support@connext.work and we’ll refund that first payment.
  • Apart from that, and where the law requires otherwise, we don’t refund part months.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it ends Pro straight away, without a refund for the rest of that month, and permanently removes your information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Your information and your contacts

Everything you add to Connext Work stays yours: your CV, your job goal, your contacts, your notes and your messages. You allow us to store and use it only to run Connext Work for you, as our Privacy Policy explains. Other users can’t see it.

The people in your contacts haven’t signed up to Connext Work, so please treat their details with care:

  • Only add people you know, from sources you’re entitled to use, such as your own LinkedIn connections.
  • Use their details only for your own job search, and never for selling, marketing or passing on to anyone else.
  • Don’t add sensitive information about anyone to your notes, such as their health, religion, sexuality or political views.
  • If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop.

AI suggestions

Connext Work uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to help you shape your job goal, explain why someone is on your shortlist and suggest messages. We ask it to use only the details you’ve given us, but AI can still get things wrong or be out of date.

  • Check suggestions before you rely on them, especially anyone’s current job.
  • Read and edit every message before you send it, so it’s accurate and sounds like you.
  • You’re responsible for the messages you send, however they were written.

LinkedIn

On Pro, you can connect your LinkedIn account so Connext Work can keep your connections up to date, send the campaign messages you’ve approved, and show and reply to your LinkedIn conversations.

  • You sign in to LinkedIn on a secure page provided by our partner Unipile, which makes the connection. Connext Work never sees your LinkedIn password.
  • Only connect your own LinkedIn account.
  • Nothing is sent from your account until you’ve reviewed the messages and launched a campaign. You can pause or end a campaign, or disconnect LinkedIn, at any time.
  • Messages go out slowly, during the sending hours you choose, within daily limits we set well below LinkedIn’s own.
  • When Pro ends, keeping your connections up to date pauses, and LinkedIn disconnects at the end of the period you’ve paid for. Your campaigns stay on hold.

LinkedIn’s rules. LinkedIn’s User Agreement restricts using other software to automate activity on LinkedIn, and LinkedIn may warn, limit or restrict accounts it believes are automated. Our limits reduce this risk, but they can’t remove it. If you connect your account, you accept this risk, and you remain responsible for your LinkedIn account and for following LinkedIn’s terms.

Connext Work isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.

Using Connext Work responsibly

Please don’t:

  • send spam or bulk messages, harass anyone, or make misleading claims, including about how well you know someone;
  • use Connext Work for anything other than your own job search, such as recruiting, selling or marketing to your contacts;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you don’t have the right to use;
  • try to get around our limits, copy or scrape the service, or access it with bots or other automated tools;
  • try to break into, overload or interfere with Connext Work, or copy or reverse engineer it.

Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we need to protect other people or the service, or if the law requires it. We’ll tell you why, unless we’re not allowed to. If we close a Pro account when you haven’t broken these terms, we’ll refund the unused part of the month you’ve paid for.

You can stop using Connext Work and delete your account whenever you like.

Changes

We’re always improving Connext Work, so features may change. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Pro includes, we’ll tell you first and you can cancel.

We may update these terms, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. If a change affects you significantly, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

We aim to keep Connext Work available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control.

Our responsibility to you

  • We’ll provide Connext Work with reasonable care and skill. If we don’t, and you suffer loss or damage that was a foreseeable result, we’re responsible for it. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable.
  • We’re not responsible for what other services do, including LinkedIn restricting your account, or for the outcome of your job search.
  • Connext Work is for personal use. If you use it for a business purpose, we’re not responsible for any loss of profit, business or opportunity, and our total responsibility is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring legal proceedings there.
